Schedule I Review

Schedule I is a game all about dealing different types of drugs to become the biggest drug lord in a town. While gaining help and enemies along the way. You can play this game on your own or with your friends.
You start the game with your uncle Nelssen in a small town where you have a small drug business, but as it turns night, the police show up at your uncle’s ranch, where you’re staying in your rv.
They wake you up as they arrive with their sirens on, and before they can notice you inside the rv you escape the scene and start new in Hyland Park.

In this new town, you will learn how to grow and sell weed from pay phone calls from your uncle, as well as start producing different types of narcotics, all to become the drug lord of the town. Along the way, you bump into new dealers and helpers as well as the pre-existing cartel, in which you can choose to help or to try to get rid of.
The gameplay of schedule 1 can start slow with having to learn how to grow and make each type of drug you want to make to sell, as well as gaining new people to sell to but it picks up as you go through the game. This starts by gaining the different strains of weed you can get and learning how to mix them to make stronger and more expensive strains of weed.

Then develops in learning how to make meth in the game using the oven and lab that you will unlock as you get to into the warehouse when achieving hoomlud level, also known as level 5, you will also have to gain a new dealer to gain certain products to start your production. Following on to learning how to make cocaine and shrooms, you will find you will have to follow similar rots being you will have to unlock new dealers and equipment to produce the products, with the exception of needing to gain the seware key for shrooms production. Over time, you will find this can make the game more challenging. However, to help you out along the way, you will unlock people who you can use as dealers for your own product. This will come at a cost of a percentage of funds per amount of weed they sell for you. When you gain access to the warehouse, you will also have the ability to hire people to help with the growing production wheather that be helping you grow, packing your products, mixing them into stronger strains or just tidying up the amount of rubbish that inevitably falls on to the floor.

This isn’t all the game, though, if you want to have a bit of fun without all the tedious tasks, such as growing and gaining conections you can also pickpocket to gain produce and random items in the game, such as coke bananas and horse sperm. You can also do this with the police, but also with the citizens of the town. You can steal weapons from the police with their ammo, where you have the choice to use these items or sell them at the porn shop for cash. Just be aware if you fail a pickpocte on any person they may try to call the police on you or pick a fight, and if you fail on a police officer they will try to arrest you, if they sucessed in arresting you you will lose all of your drugs and will also recieve a fine regaring why you where aressted as well as for any drugs on your person.

The graphics for the game are pretty basic and work well for the gameplay and set up, with the colour mostly being blocked in over having a lot of detail, making the characters a bit more basic than other games. However, this allows you to focus more on the story as you don’t need lots of detail to understand and have fun with the game. You will also find that Schedule 1 has basic audio as they repeat the background music each day you wake up; however, this can help you see each day in the game as a fresh day.

The only two complaints I have about the game are the couple of bugs that can slow down the game. The first being that the NPCs can get stuck in a location, which means they may not turn up at the location they have asked for to sell your products and can result in you not being able to sell to them. The second is regarding multiplayer, as you can be kicked out of the game you are playing saying the host has left the game when they havent, and when you join back to the game you dont join back at in the last building you slept in you instead spawn in the mild of a forest with none of the items you had on you and none of the cash money you might of had on you.
As an overall view on the game i would say it’s a great game with lots to do and enough achievements to try and get, making it a game you will want to go back to and play again and again. There are a couple of bugs that would obviously benefit from being fixed. However i can say with confidence that these will likely be fixed as the developers TVGS are still working on the game, as there are still frequent updates and fixes being done as the continued growth of content on the game.
