Look Outside Review

There have been a few games I replay a lot.
This game, no matter i replay this game I always find something new i even go to say this is the most enjoyable game i have played all year.

Story

Look Outside is a survival horror RPG set in a single apartment building. A mysterious event turns anyone who looks out the window into grotesque monsters, leaving the world in absolute chaos. Scavenge the building to seek food, supplies, and weapons while encountering strange characters You play as Sam an unemployed person one day wakes up to have the urge to look outside. After refusing to look outside, your neighbour (Sybil) talks to you and tells you that something outside is happening and it’s turning people as well as mentioning it’s meant to blow over in 15 days.

So with that you have 15 days to explore your apartments and meet interesting things along the way there’s many ending to this game on what outcome you do and each day there’s more story lore and more crazy things to see. 

Gameplay
So there is a few things you need to know. You have 15 days to look around the apartment building and uncover a lot of things. Each day in the game is crucial on how you play the game or wasting time in the game. Every time you rest something new will happen in the building either its new rooms opening up or people in the building change for good to worse you will meet a lot of crazy things and befriends other people that has turned and If you stick around your apartment you will get a knock at the door. Can they be trusted?
That’s the question.

Finding items to use to fight or to defend your self is something you need to keep a eye out for as weapon’s do break and if they keep getting damaged its broken for good. each weapons will have its own moves, the other moves require STM but beware it can make the weapon’s damage more.
other than melee wepons there’s ranged weapon’s some can be used 1 hand and others 2 handed just like melee weapons.
Another thing to think about its game cartridge you find and play back in your apartment. the more you play them you will get new skill moves but it does pass time so watch out for that.
You also find food so you can cook a health meal for you and the party to keep social stats up.
every day you must shower and brush your teeth if you don’t your sates goes down.

There is alot to this game and every time i play it its completely different there are eight endings to this game so and with the game always different its amazing!
All the enemy’s are awesome some you can befriend and some are just out right brutal.
Fighting eatch one has always there own style and sometimes you just need to talk with them.

Audio Visuals

I like the audio visuals Bringing that 80s vibe and Style if you do a wrong dialog the sound is really is messed up.

Overall

In overall This was my most played game of 2025 from what it looks packs so much in a game, i would love to see more with a series to this game like the aftermath. my favourite  game of 2025 and i would strongly recommend picking it up
