Version: 0.9.6

I’ve added a prototype genre section to the homepage along with a 0–9 / A–Z navigation bar for easier browsing. This is still an early version — more like the building blocks for a bigger idea. I plan to refine and integrate it better into the site’s UI later for a smoother, more polished experience.

Patch Notes:

• Genre Navigation Bar – Added a genre-based navigation section to the homepage. I’ll need to configure categories within the site settings to make it fully functional and visible as intended. This will take some time, as there are 52 genres in the video game world.

  • In the future, I plan to expand beyond gaming by adding non–video game genres such as food, clothing, and more — turning PGN into a true all-rounder review site that offers honest and transparent reviews for everyone to enjoy or reference before visiting a location.

• 0–9 / A–Z Navigation Bar – Added a contextual navigation bar for quickly finding articles by their starting number or letter.

  • This feature isn’t live on the site yet — the code is in place, but I still need to decide where to place the shortcode and how to present it in a more polished way.

• Updated Footer – Footer version updated from 0.9.5 → 0.9.6.
