Version: 0.9.4
I’ve done some polishing on the theme. No more black background or pixelated text — I upgraded to a more modern flow. It’s not as unique as I eventually want it to be, but it feels right to move in line with other review sites. Still a long way from perfect, but this is a solid step forward and I’ll continue tweaking.
Patch Notes:
-
UI Overhaul – Recoded the interface for a cleaner and more modern look.
-
Navigation Redesign – Rebuilt the navigation menu with flexbox: logo now sits top-left, and the menu sits top-right.
-
Footer Cleanup – Same layout as before, but refreshed with a cleaner, more professional design.
-
Font Update – Removed Jersey-15 and replaced it with Sans-Serif for a sharper look.
-
Default Font Colors – Text defaults to light gray, while bold text is white. This is now hardcoded, so authors no longer need to adjust it in the editor.
-
SEO Plugin Added – Installed a new SEO plugin to help drive more traffic to the site.
-
Updated footer to version: 0.9.4
- Better optimized mobile version of the site, the code was added in 0.9.4 so no need to update it to 0.9.5 since all I did was change certain code to make it work smoother.
What’s Next:
-
Logo Update – The current logo (1920×1080) needs to be resized and optimized in Photoshop for proper website logo dimensions.
-
Search Bar + Socials – I’ll reattempt adding a search bar to the menu and include social media links in the form of icons/images.
