I’ve spent a lot of time reworking this version of the site to make it feel so much better. On the surface, it might look like I’ve only made subtle tweaks here and there, but behind the scenes, I’ve put in hours of recoding to get everything working exactly as intended. Below is a summary of what I changed and why I felt it was necessary:

Version: 0.7.8

• Removed cdlaura.exe — This feature was very rough and caused me a lot of unnecessary stress during development. Although it was my most successful piece of code so far, its execution didn’t live up to its potential and deserved better. I’ve removed it entirely for now, but it will return in the future — fully rewritten and properly executed to maintain the sense of mystery it was meant to have.

• Removed the search bar — This didn’t really serve any meaningful purpose beyond looking cool and being part of the cdlaura.exe game.

• Redesigned the navigation buttons — Navigation buttons now have a highlighted neon green square to clearly indicate they’re clickable.

• Improved the glowing header — The header’s glow is now sharper and less distracting, so it blends better with the rest of the site.

• Removed two secret pages — These pages were tied exclusively to cdlaura.exe and no longer serve a purpose without it.

• Changed font style.css to VT323 from Press Start 2P to reduce the bold/ thickness of the page, making each word/ letter hard to read, this is experimental and I may revert the change in a later update for now, let me know on our X page how you feel about this change.
• Changed Font Colour from White to Light Gray to hopefully reduce eye fatigue when looking at a massive wall of text for too long as well as updated the site theme layout a bit while the homepage will have white text to indicate what has been changed and light gray to explain why it was changed from the rest of the site.
